4Are EPSON ink cartridges really full  Feb 07, 2011
By Liz-ard "person"
Epson EPSON T0... K3 ink cartridgs for my EPSON Stylus PHOTO R2400 are great in quality and easy to use. However, this is how EPSON makes money. All the ink cartridges run out of ink quickly, especially light cyan, light magenta, light black and light light black. I wonder if the cartridges are half full. It costs me a fortune to print the hundreds of images I print for my semi-pro photography business. Don't pay a premium price buying direct from EPSON but go through AMAZON to one of the reliable outlets such as ADORAMA or B&H to save $3 per cartridge. I have tried refilled cartridges but they leaked and didn't print. Nor did the (not to be named) company give me my hundred bucks back. Bulk ink systems exist but are usually rated 3* because you have to cut a hole in the printer to the feed the ink cable and they perform marginally. EPSON no longer sells a bulk ink system for the R2400 and I wonder when I will no longer be able to buy ink. Catcha 22! I love the printer and print quality (love EPSON paper too) but will not buy another EPSON printer unless it comes with a bulk ink supply system.

5Decent Ink  May 15, 2009

I purchased this for my Epson 2400 printer. It is a great printer even though Epson doesn't make it anymore.

5the best ink  Jun 11, 2014

Being a retired professional photographer I've used many printers and many inks for them. Epson's K3 inks are so far superior the others don't even tip the meter to a one star.

5Best for Fine Art Prints  Apr 07, 2014
By Eric C. Anderson
I have a R2400 printer from Epson. While it is not the latest greatest from Epson, the ink set on the right paper creates fantastic fine art prints, museum quality (again, assuming you are using that quality of paper).

I never fiddle with something that works well. Saving a few bucks and then trying to get the color and life expectancy right - forget it. I can be assured of Epson quality and know without any fuss that all of the color adjustments and profiles I have used over the years will work perfectly.

The cheap ink is for people who don't care about the quality standard Epson has set.

4This is INK, its from the OEM and it works  Feb 23, 2014
By Randall G. Rich
When you buy ink from the maker of the printer you can be assured it will work and not destroy your printer. That is the case here, Epson printers should be fed a diet of Epson inks. Easy to install and I only wish they cost less.
